Open-Mind
Portraits Open-Mind Portraits enable
a student to identify one element of story structure, character identification.
This project helps the students to identify with the character's feelings,
attitudes and point of view.
Draw a portrait of a character
from the book, showing from the shoulders upward.
Design on the back of the character
portrait pictures that describe what the character might be thinking/feeling.
This could be done three times,
one for how the character thinks/feels at the beginning, middle, and end
of the book.
