March Madness 2003
At Charleston Middle School

CMS students from Team 8A are taking a special interest in the 2003 NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. They drew for teams to cheer through the competition and are using numerous resources to learn about their selected college or university. The students will be exploring related topics in reading, social studies, language arts, math and science.

Math classes to the IMC to select teams and start the unit

Science classes video tape free throws

Tuesday, March 18

 

Science classes to the IMC to conduct research on their schools

Social studies classes will map out routes

Science classes use books, computers to finish research

 

Thursday, March 20

 

Science classes analyze free throws on computers

Social studies classes complete routes
