The Gingerbread Girl

This is a tasty tale about a wittier, younger sibling. She followed in the foot steps of her older brother until she turned the tables of events. A very sweet and playful little cookie!

Author/Illustrator:  Lisa Campbell Ernst

    •  Writing: Write the story from the old man and old woman’s or the fox’s point of view.
    • Social Studies: What is a folk tale? Where did folk tales come from? Why are folk tales in the nonfiction section of the library?
