You are responsible for chapter 4A from “Sol y viento” that includes:

Vocabulary on pages 200-201, 208-209, 216-217 (same as 226).
In the vocabulary section of the exam I will give you definitions, such as the ones we did in class on this week, and you will write the vocabulary words. (I don’t ask for translations).

Grammar: “Preterite tense of –AR, -ER, -IR verbs,” regular and irregular. Pages 204, 212, 220-221.
Similar to the photocopies I gave you in class, you will have to fill in the blanks with the appropriate form of the preterite. Practice using the e book. You could also visit my webpage for more practices, look for the link on your syllabus.

Culture: Readings on 203, 205, 211, 217, 223. Questions will be content questions similar to the ones we discussed in class on Friday.

Film. There will be content questions from the film. Please watch it before class. You have access to it in Centro. We will discuss it in class but it would be a good idea to watch it before.

I will ask you to write 3 sentences in the preterite about what you did yesterday. Practice by writing in the preterite before the exam. Use complete sentences.

The exam will be only 60 minutes. After it, we will continue with class until 12 pm.
