Gauss's Law in Magnetism
Gauss's Law for electricity involved the charge within a Gaussian surface because electric field lines originate on positive charges and terminate on negative charges.
Magnetic field lines do not originate or teminate! Magnetic field lines are continuous loops.
Therefore, Gauss's Law for magnetic fields is that the magnetic flux through a closed surface is zero!
