No power is dissipated by a capacitor.
A capacitor stores energy in the electric field between its two plates during part of the cycle and then releases that energy back to the rest of the circuit during another part of the cycle as the capacitor is discharged and the electric field between the plates collapses. No power is dissipated by a capacitor.
