About Me

I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eastern Illinois University. I am also the faculty coordinator for our departmental honors program.

Teaching

I teach a variety of courses in the mathematics curriculum, from freshman-level courses aimed at a general audience to graduate courses. My teaching assignments depend primarily on departmental needs. For information on your courses, including office hours, please see your course shell in D2L.

Research

My research is in ergodic theory. I am interested in convergence of ergodic averages along subsequences, convergence of multiparameter averages, recurrence, and the interplay between dynamics and other branches of mathematics.

I also serve as a Co-organizer for Little School Dynamics at the American Institute of Mathematics.
