Using
PrintScreen
When you need to capture an
image from the computer screen, you can use the [PrtScn]* key on your
keyboard. It enables you to take a "screenshot" that is copied to the
clipboard. The image can then be pasted into a Word document or into a
graphics editor such as Paint.
First, you must locate the
[PrtScn] key. It is usually in the upper righthand part of the
keyboard.
With the image that you wish
to capture visible on the screen, press [Shift] [PrtScn]
The image is now stored on
the clipboard.
Open Word (or Paint if you
want to edit the image) and select Paste (ctrl-v) from the Edit menu.
The image will now be pasted into your document.
