Excursions Bulletin Board and Online Quizzes My hope is that you will use the Bulletin Board throughout this course. I expect this Bulletin Board to be useful. Please give me lots of feedback concerning this. I will try to refrain from answering your questions immediately. I want the Bulletin Board to be a means of exchanging ideas between and among students in this class. If you have a question for me, please come see me or send it to me by eMail.
There are Online Quizzes for each chapter. The deadline for these Online Quizzes is 1200 (noon) of the day listed in this calendar for the homework for that chapter. Summer School, by its very nature, is a hectic time. The idea behind the Online Quizzes is to help you not get too far behind. The multiple-guess questions of the Online Quizzes are given at the end of the assigned homework. The questions -- with their answers -- are repeated following that. You can take the Online Quizzes a maximum of five times. These Online Quizzes will be normalized to 100 points and count the same as one hour exam. There is no reason that everyone should not get 100 points on these Online Quizzes!
Please don't wait until the deadline. Computers are contankerous! Networks do go down! Take the quizzes as early as you like.
