British History Abroad: British Rulers & British Ruled since 1700

Dr. Newton Key (a former resident of the UK, and a well-published historian of England and Wales), led a successful History Abroad program in 2006 and will lead the 2007 program. A graduate of the American School in London, the University of Cambridge (M.Phil., Darwin, Social Anthropology), and Cornell University (Ph.D., British History), Dr. Key has lived and worked throughout London, and lived in Hereford and Cambridge, and travelled throughout England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. This is an opportunity for students in all majors to study and experiencethe history of the British people in the last three centuries.

Where: Harlaxton Manor, near Grantham and Queen Mary College, London

When: 3 June–6 July 2006
