Adams Memorials

History

Adams Memorials opened its doors in July of 1975. Since then they have expanded three times in late 1975,1982 and 1993. They have been engraving granite into gravestones, signs and golf tee markers throughout the state.

Nature of Business

They design, engrave and place gravestones, signs and golf tee markers.

Qualities & Skills Needed for Employment

The people that want to work here have to be dependable, punctual, and reliable. They need to be hard-working and be able to learn the skills needed to perform this task.

Impact of Changing Technologies

Technology has cut down on the cost of special cuts. By using laser for making these special shapes it makes them cheaper. Computer designing and computer stencil cutting have cut down on errors and increased output. It allows more work to be done with fewer man hours.

Vision for 2020

Adams Memorials is in the process of expanding throughout the state and hoping to improve there technology to better serve the community.
