Citizen's
Bank
History
Citizen's opened two new
facilities in August of 1997. They operate full service branches of
banks in the Walker's Grocery store and at 1810 Lincoln Avenue. They
are branches of Citizen's National Bank in Paris that has been in
business for 95 years.
Nature of
Business
Citizen's is a commercial
bank that has full service access. They handle loans, deposits,
brokerage services, and electronic banking. They handle retail and
business banking needs.
Qualities & Skills
Needed for Employment
Citizen's looks for
computer knowledge on Lotus, Word Perfect, and Internet experience.
They like to have people with formal sales training and/or sales
skills. They like outgoing people with good appearances.Good writing
skills and verbal communication skills are a real plus, also.
Impact of Changing
Technologies
The largest change is most
likely the Internet, because information travels much more
quickly. They must constantly have timely and meaningful turnaround on
all products and services they provide.
Vision for
2020
In 2020, home banking will
be very normal and it will be offered from Citizen's. Cash will be
the exception to the rule. Debit cards (checking account access
through a card like a credit card) and special cards will replace
cash. The vision for Citizen's will be providing the most
technologically advanced products to customers that can be afforded
and still generate profits for the bank.
