Little Trojans Track a Comet
The Great Comet Page
During the months of March and April 1997, Comet Hale-Bopp presents a spectacular celestial show in the early morning (NE) and early evening (NW) skies. The last time this comet visited our solar system was over 4,000 years ago. That was the era when the pyramids in Egypt were first being built. It will be another 2,400 years before it returns, so don't miss this great opportunity. ( Picture above by Tim McCollum, 10 sec. exposure, f/1.7 - 50 mm lens, Fujifilm 400 )
