History

Charleston,Illinois Mcdonald's was built in 1975 on the site

of the Community pool. McDonalds since then has provided

a clean , fast, and friendly restaurant for the Charleston

Community. They have also provided many jobs for many

high school and college students from the surrounding schools.

Nature Of Business

McDonalds is a well-known fast food restaurant.

Skills Needed for Employment

Quality and skills needed to work there are integrity, honesty,

outgoing personality and hard working.

Impact of Changing Technologies

Computers have definitely changed the services there. The

cash registers are all computerized. All reports for the store

are now contained in the computers that is the main unit for

the entire store.

Vision for 2020

There vision is to continue serving hot, fresh food as friendly as

they can. To do this they will need to update there technology

and rebuild the store.
