CMS Students at Work

The ARM Project

During the 2001/2002 school year, 8th grade students at Charleston Middle School in Charleston, IL have been actively participating in the Atmospheric Visualization Collection project. This project is a collaborative venture between Eastern Illinois University, the University of Utah, Argonne National Laboratory, the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement program (ARM), the National Science Foundation, Riverside-Brookfield High School, and Charleston Middle School. The images shown below represent some of the work and product samples done by these future meteorologists.
