Best Western
Worthington Inn
History
Worthington Inn was originally built as a Holiday
Inn. It then changed hands several times and was closed down for a
few years. The present owners bought and completely remodeled the
hotel rooms, banquet rooms, and restaurants. The facility reopened in
1994. We became affiliated with Best Western in 1996.

Qualities & Skills Needed for
Employment
The skills required differ depending on the position.
Personal qualities that we look for are: friendly, courteous, well
groomed, dependable, enthusiastic, ambitious, and self-motivated.
Employers here also look for people that have good organization and
communication skills.
Impact of Changing Technologies
When we
became part of the Best Western chain we were hooked up with their
national reservation system. Along with this, we opened a web site
giving customers the ability to make reservations over the
internet.
Vision for 2020
In
the coming years, we will need to expand our facility to accommodate
the growth in the community. We already see the need to continually
update our computer systems, telephone system, and our key entry
system. The hospitality industry is always changing to provide the
needs of travelers and business customers. We see the Worthington Inn
continuing to provide services for the community and businesses in
the area.
