Here we consider a uniform rod of length 1 with constant thermal properties.  Both ends are insulated, the initial temperature distribution is the linear function f(x) = x, and k = 1/10.  Below we animate the temperature distribution for 5 seconds. Only the first 16 terms in the infinite series solution to the Heat Equation are used.
