Minh Jr. graduated from the University of Chicago in June of 1998. For two years, he worked as a research associate for two professors there. In September of 2000, he started the M.A. program in Economics at Boston University and completed it in May of 2001.
Since October 8, 2001 Minh Jr. has begun working as a market analyst for Takeda, the largest pharmaceutical company in Japan, which is seeking to expand into the U.S. market, having had a branch in Lincolnshire, a northern suburb of Chicago, Illinois, over the past three years. On November 1, he proposed to Jenny Mayling Yeung and she accepted. The big date was June 22, 2002, at Spiaggia, in Chicago.
In October of 2003, Minh Jr. reached another milestone when he was promoted to senior market analyst.
