Me llamo Bianca Capezio. ¡Soy la vice-presidenta de Sigma Delta Pi acá en EIU! (el año pasado fui la secretaria) Este año es mi último año en EIU y mi segundo año en Sigma Delta Pi. Tengo un interés fuerte en la lengua de español, he estudiado por 9 años. Me uní a esta organización porque quería compartir mi amor por el español con los estudiantes de EIU. Muchos de los eventos son útiles para practicar el español. ¡Este verano voy a viajar a España por nueve semanas! En el futuro querría enseñar español en una escuela secundaria.

Zachary Call is a sophomore Spanish major from Springfield, Illinois. He has studied the language for six years. In the summer of 2011, Zac traveled to Spain and Portugal, and he plans on studying abroad in either Ecuador or Argentina during the summer of 2014. After EIU, Zac hopes to attend graduate school to study law.

My name is Sarah Douglas, I am 24 years old, and I am a senior at Eastern Illinois University. I am very deeply interested in the study of foreign languages! I study Spanish, German and French, and I am a Latin American Studies minor. I also enjoy reading about other languages in my free time. Studying foreign languages has given me the gift of a new perspective. The beauty of studying another language is that is helps you to be a more open minded person, and exposes you to other cultures and ways of life. I am a member of the Spanish club, and I studied abroad in Argentina last summer. With my education, I plan to become a translator. I want to utilize my skills in a way that is beneficial to others.
