Dr. Kathryn M. Bulver is professor of French at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois, where she has been a faculty member since 1990.

Dr. Bulver teaches all levels of French language and has developed advanced courses in French Song (La Chanson française), Short Story (Le conte et la nouvelle) and French Fantastic Literature (La Littérature fantastique).

An active member of several professional organisations, professor Bulver has given numerous pedagogical presentations on a variety of topics--including French song, story telling, classroom games, and poetry--at state, regional, and national language conferences, including AATF, ICTFL, ACTFL and CSC.
